$20 million in Series A investment has been received by AI-driven, configurable email security platform Sublime Security in order to strengthen its cutting-edge strategy for safeguarding businesses from email threats. Decibel Partners and Slow Ventures, two prior investors, contributed to the financing round led by Index Ventures. The additional money will be used toward expanding platform investments and enhancing user satisfaction.
The funding announcement coincides with the appointment of cybersecurity luminary Dmitri Alperovitch, co-founder and former CTO of Crowdstrike, to Sublime’s Board of Directors, signaling a significant endorsement of Sublime’s approach and future direction.
The 2023 FBI Internet Crime Report, which linked Business Email Compromise (BEC) schemes to losses of over $2.9 billion, emphasizes that email is still the principal vector via which cybersecurity risks enter the world of digital communication. Because of the pervasive underreporting, the real extent of the losses is probably substantially higher. To solve these issues, Sublime Security has developed a platform that not only delivers instantaneous, out-of-the-box security, but also a wide range of customization possibilities to fit unique organizational demands.
